Shackletons Gallery Recycling

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Shackletons Gallery, we take our responsibility to the environment seriously. Working in partnership with the Senator Group, we continue to refine how we handle packaging and recycling, ensuring our operations create a positive impact wherever possible.

In 2022 alone, we recycled 6,490kg of packaging, saving an estimated 6,444kg of CO₂ emissions. This achievement highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices, and we are determined to improve on these results year after year.

What We Recycle

We recycle a wide range of packaging materials, with particular focus on cardboard, plastic and polystyrene. In 2022, our recycling included 2,794kg of cardboard, 2,184kg of plastic, and 1,125kg of polystyrene.

By keeping these materials out of landfill and within recycling streams, we continue to reduce our environmental footprint and help build a more sustainable future.

White Glove Delivery Service

When you choose our White Glove Delivery Service, you will receive a 3–4 hour delivery slot on the day of arrival. Our couriers will always call around 30 minutes before they arrive.

To make sure everything runs smoothly, please ensure clear access to your home and that the area where your new furniture will be placed is ready for assembly. This preparation allows our couriers to provide an efficient and stress-free delivery experience.

Furniture Removal Guidance

Our couriers are fully insured to deliver and assemble the furniture you purchase from us, but they are not permitted to move or remove existing furniture.

If you need to clear space before your delivery, we recommend contacting local charities. Many organisations, including the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK, offer free furniture collection services. This helps you prepare your space while also supporting valuable community causes.
